Subject: Linux port of DOS command line bootloader.

I have just finished smoke testing a Linux port of the DOS command line
bootloader available for download at
http://www.workingtechnologies.com/htpic/PIC_bootloader.htm#download .

This port might also work on FreeBSD and/or other UNIX flavours that use
the same serial port semantics as Linux. I simply have not tested them
yet.

To do this I:
* re-arranged the #include relationships of the files to make plugging
in the linuxio implmentation easier
* wrote linuxio.c to perform the same tasks dosio.c but within the Linux
"termios" serial port controls.
* enhanced error reporting here and there, especially in the "cannot
open file" case.
* added documentation for UNIX intallation and usage.
* broke the DOS compilation :)
* a summary of the gory details are available at
http://bitmover.com:8888//tmp/v2_logging/bonce.whimsyville/albertd-20020403012652-05133-50cbecfdb5f0e8ab/ChangeSet?nav=index.html

Work remaining:
* unbreak DOS compilation
+ fix the dependencies in the .prj file for multi .o file
compilation/linking
+ adjust the 1 or 2 function signatures to match the changes to io.h
	+ test :)
* test the beast on a few more installations. :)

A zipfile of my work is attached. I used BitKeeper
(http://www.bitkeeper.com) to track my work as I went so I have a
repository for you to clone if you want :)

While I was testing this I noticed that the sample tester programs
provided in the zipfile with the Delphi implementation spoof the
bootloader when they are in their "[alive]..." loop. The "inchr+1"
replies just happen to be what the downloader is looking for in the
identification phase... :)
